Alternate name: Muravitsa (Yiddish), Mapvits (Hungarian), Muravica (Polish). v. Muravitsa is located in Rovensky, 3 km from Mlynov, 57 km from Rovno and 58 km from Dubno. The cemetery is located at Central part to Kotovskogo St. 42. Present town population is under 1,000 with no Jews.

The earliest known Jewish community was 18-19 [sic]. 1937 Jewish population (census) was 500. Effecting the Jewish Community were 1st World War, and Civil War. The Jewish cemetery was established in the 19th century with last known Karly-Stolin Hasidic burial was 1941. No other towns or villages used this unlandmarked cemetery. The isolated urban hillside by water has no sign or marker. Reached by crossing private property, access is open to all. No wall, fence, or gate surrounds site. No stones are visible. Location of any removed stones is unknown. The cemetery contains no known mass graves. Municipality owns property is used for recreational use (park, playground, and sports). Properties adjacent are residential. The cemetery boundaries are unchanged since 1939. Local residents visit rarely. The cemetery was not vandalized in the last ten years. There is no maintenance now. Within the limits of the cemetery are no structures. Serious threat: vandalism and proposed nearby development. Slight threat: uncontrolled access and weather erosion.
