Ksaverov is located in Zhitomirskaya, 32 km from Malin. The cemetery is located at 1 km to North from village. Present town population is under 1,000 with no Jews.

     The earliest known Jewish community was 1772. 1926 Jewish population (census) was 495. The Jewish cemetery was established in the 19th century with last known Hasidic burial in 1941. Skuraty (5 km away) used this unlandmarked cemetery. The isolated flat land between fields and woods has no sign or marker. Reached by crossing public property, access is open to all. No wall, fence, or gate surrounds site. No stones are visible. Location of any removed tombstones is unknown. The cemetery contains marked mass graves. The municipality owns the property used for Jewish cemetery and mass burial site. Adjacent properties are agricultural. The cemetery boundaries are smaller now than 1939 because of agriculture and other. Rarely, Jews or non-Jews visit. The cemetery was vandalized during World War II. There is no maintenance. Within the limits of the cemetery are no structures. Vegetation overgrowth is a seasonal problem, preventing access. Moderate threat: vegetation and vandalism. Slight threat: uncontrolled access, weather erosion, pollution and proposed nearby development.
