Alternate name: Huta Polonetska (Polish), Guta (Russian) and Huta Poloniecka (Ukraine). `Guta Polonetska is located in Khmelnitskaya at 50÷7 25÷_, 122 m from Rovno and 56km from Lvov. The mass grave is located east (of town?). Present town population is under 1,000 with no Jews.      The earliest known Jewish community was 15th century. 1939 Jewish population (census) was 20. 1654 event effected Jewish Community. The unlandmarked Jewish mass grave was dug in 1941. The wooded flat land has signs or plaques in Ukrainian mentioning Jews and the Holocaust. Reached from forest, access is open to all. No wall, fence or gate surrounds the mass grave. The approximate size of mass grave is now 0.01 hectares. No stones were removed. The mass grave has no special sections. Stones date from 1993. The mass grave has only common tombstones. The site contains marked mass graves. Municipality owns the site used for mass burial site. Adjacent properties are forest. Organized individual tours and local residents visit occasionally. This mass grave never was vandalized. Now, authorities clear or clean occasionally. Within the limits of the mass grave are no structures. Moderate threat: uncontrolled access and vegetation. Slight threat: weather erosion, pollution and vandalism.
