Liwcze is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dołhobyczów within Hrubieszów powiat, Lublin Voivodeship in eastern Poland near the border with Ukraine 10 km (6 mi) S of Dołhobyczów, 37 km (23 mi) S of Hrubieszów, and 133 km (83 mi) SE of the regional capital Lublin. The Germans destroyed both the synagogue and the cemetery during the Second World War. In 1890, Liwcze was in Galicia. Currently, it is on the Polish side of the Polish-Ukrainian border.
