Brocēni, Brocēnu Muiža, Brotseny, Myza Brotseny. 56°40′N 22°34′E. This town in southern Latvia along the river Ciecere in the Brocēni municipality is near lake Ciecere and its large deposit of limestone, used to manufacture of cement. During WWII, cement and slate factories were built in the town.
MASS GRAVE: administrative unit of Broceni. With no road signs, the mass grave is reached from inside Broceni. On Riga Street, cross Lielcieceres Street, go straight for 200m, and turn left. Proceed 200m into the forest. [January 2011]
