45°16' N 15°14' E, 52.4 miles SW of Zagreb, Ogulin is in Karlovac County on the edge of a region called Gorski Kotar.
Ogulin-Modrush valley (Ogulin-Modruš) that is situated between the Adriatic coast and Zagreb and extends from the town Ogulin about 25 kilometres to the south.
