DANICA

The first Ustasa concentration camp: Established in this town near Koprivnica during April 1941, about 600 Jews were interred here, until July 1941 when tthey were transferred to other camps. Most were killed. A Holocaust monument shaped like a giant gallows was erected in 1981. [January 2009]
