Utakatta Cemetery, Geraldton: Postal address of cemetery: Chairperson of the Board, Utakatta Cemetery Board, Geraldton, W.A., 6530 Australia.

Care is provided by a caretaker. The still active cemetery is located in the Midwest of Western Australia on flat land. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a continuous wire fence and an unlocked gate. The sign in English reads: Utkatta Cemetery. The general cemetery is divided by religious sections.

The one gravestone dates from 27 Sep 1943. The one twentieth century stone gravestone with Hebrew and English inscription is in original location.

Adjacent properties are farmland. Visits to the Jewish grave are very rare. The site has been vandalized. No current care. Only structures are administrative buildings. No threats. The vegetation overgrowth in the cemetery is no problem. Water drainage at the cemetery is good all year. The nearest Jewish community is in Perth 450 kilometres away. Geraldton War Cemetery in Utakatta Cemetery: Postal address of cemetery and location of cemetery records: Office of Australian War Graves, Smyth Road, Nedlands, 6009 W.A., Australia.

Care is provided by a caretaker. The cemetery section for war dead of WWII dates from the 1940s is located in the Midwest of Western Australia on flat land. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a stone wall and a row of trees and an unlocked gate. The sign in English reads: Geraldton War Cemetery.

The one gravestone dates from 27 Sep 1943. The one twentieth century stone gravestone with Hebrew and English inscription is in original location.

Adjacent properties are the general cemetery. Visits to the Jewish grave are very rare, but fairly frequent to the war graves. Care by the Office of Australian War Graves is continuous. No threats. The vegetation overgrowth in the cemetery is no problem. Water drainage at the cemetery is good all year. Structures are administrative. The World War 2 Cemetery at Utakatta in Geraldton contains one Australian Jewish airman killed in a plane crash at a training base at Geraldton. As with all Australian War Cemeteries, it is kept in absolute beautiful condition. The nearest Jewish community is in Perth 423 kilometres away. The cemetery is one of nine remote cemeteries in the State of Western Australia that has Jewish burials.
